What is the oldest tree in Pamplona?
The oldest tree near Pamplona is most likely the Roble de Orkin in the Ultzama valley, a pedunculate oak whose size has led to it being called millenary, though Navarra publishes no age for it or for any of its 47 declared Natural Monument trees.

The oak at Orkin in the Ultzama valley is widely called millenary on the strength of its size, which is a common way of dating a big oak and not a measurement. The oak at Eltzaburu is better documented: reported at over 26 metres tall with a base close to two metres across, it survived both felling and a lightning strike that took out one of its main limbs, and it was declared a Natural Monument in 1991.
