Qual é a árvore mais antiga de Pamplona?

The oldest tree near Pamplona is most likely the Roble de Orkin in the Ultzama valley, a pedunculate oak whose size has led to it being called millenary, though Navarra publishes no age for it or for any of its 47 declared Natural Monument trees, and its separate river-park register gives no ages either.

Navarra's register is the shortest on this site and the most absolute. It names 47 trees, declares each an individual Natural Monument, and records for each one the species, the place, the year of declaration and a coordinate, and nothing else: no height, no girth, no age and no note on whether the tree is still alive. The catalogue in its present form was approved at the end of 2009, with a first tranche declared in 1991. That leaves the age question to sources outside the register, and there the ground is soft. The oak at Orkin in the Ultzama valley is widely called millenary on the strength of its size, which is a common way of dating a big oak and not a measurement. The oak at Eltzaburu is better documented: reported at over 26 metres tall with a base close to two metres across, it survived both felling and a lightning strike that took out one of its main limbs, and it was declared a Natural Monument in 1991. Getting to Eltzaburu: about 25 km north of Pamplona in the Ultzama valley, with a marked walking route to the tree.
