The sixth, the Downy Oak of Via di Valecchie, was added only in the register's tenth national update, by ministerial decree on 24 July 2026, and stands as the tallest monumental tree recorded anywhere in Umbria at 30 metres. Where a number does appear, as at the Eremo delle Carceri, it comes from an on-site sign rather than a survey, and this page says so rather than repeating it as fact.
