Wat is de oudste boom van Pagramantis Regional Park?

The oldest tree in Pagramantis Regional Park is the Gudlaukis oak, put at more than 600 years by long local tradition, standing in Gudlaukis about two kilometres southeast of Pagramantis village. It is free, fenced with a wooden barrier, signposted, and set directly on the park's own cycling and driving route.

That figure is a local estimate rather than a measurement. Both records of the tree, the Lithuanian encyclopaedia entry and the national tourism portal, say over 600 years, and neither cites a ring count or a growth-rate calculation, so the number has been repeated rather than established. What has been measured is the trunk: 6.30 metres round at chest height, almost entirely hollow, with a cavity a person can step through, under a crown that stops at 16 metres because lightning has taken it off more than once. Lithuania made it a state-protected natural heritage object in February 2016. Nothing else in the park is dated at all. The Geniai oak, 2.4 kilometres away and 5.6 to 5.8 metres round, is the largest healthy oak here and carries no age. The Tamosaiciai cemetery oak, 4.3 metres round and 23 metres tall, has none either. The Andriejaiciai oak on the Akmena valley rim is credited with over 300 years, again an estimate nobody has checked against rings. If you know of a dated figure for any of them, tell us.
