The oldest trees Bergamo records are the two bald cypresses in Parco Marenzi, which local guides put at over two hundred years and which the species could in theory outlast many times over, since bald cypress reaches a thousand. The Torre Boldone horse chestnut carries its own honesty note: unsighted in print since storm damage in 2021, it ships here on a continued October 2025 register listing rather than a recent photograph.
