How do I find it? You can recognise it as the tree dominating the corner of Via Volta and Via Cipolla, standing over the Liberty villa it belongs to. Look from the street corner, because the grounds are private.

This cedar towers over the corner of Via Volta and Via Cipolla, tall enough to be a landmark for the whole intersection long before anyone notices the Liberty-style villa it actually belongs to. Villa Bersani sits within a stretch of Borgo Venezia that UNESCO recognition has helped protect, and the cedar in its grounds has become something closer to a piece of shared civic identity than a private garden feature, well enough loved locally that residents formally petitioned the city in May 2015 to add it to Italy's monumental-tree register for its history, landscape value and age. That request has not resulted in an official listing, unlike the three trees elsewhere in Verona that did make the national register, but the tree's local reputation and the intersection's own layout, which seems to have been planned around leaving it room to grow, tell their own story regardless of paperwork. It stands on private property, visible from the street corner it dominates rather than from inside grounds the public cannot enter, an honest limitation for a tree this recognisable.
