Trento's registered trees are documented by the comune itself, which publishes a directory naming several of them, and by local press that covered the city's oldest tree when it was formally recognised in 2024. Italy's national register underlies all of it and carries girth, height and a position but no age column, so the 1835 date for the Via Santa Croce plane comes from the city's own records, and trees without such a record appear here with no age rather than a guess. The ten divide into one walk and six outings: four stand within nine hundred metres of the station, a fifth is twenty minutes south on foot, one is at Parco Gocciadoro, one is up at Sardagna by cable car, one is a bus ride north in Cortesano, one stands alone in a Monte Bondone pasture, and the newest is a wild cherry at Passo del Cimirlo, a mountain pass reached by bus to Povo and an uphill walk on public forest land. Six register entries are deliberately left off: a sequoia inside a convent school, a cedar on school grounds, a cypress ensemble, and three plane avenues with no single place to stand.
